Default Oil sump plug washer?

Im guessing theres nothing special about the honda sump plug washer? Can I just use any copper or alu one that is roughly the same size?
The one thats on there at the moment has been re-used twice so far, but no probs as of yet.
Thanks in advance

You're not supposed to reuse them - not entirely sure why though.

Second compression makes the fit poor/damages the washer?

When it only costs 26p from a dealer - why even bother risking using the old one?

The metal core of the gasket deforms to create the seal. If you reuse more chance of it not sealing correctly and a leak
