Default oil pump

after a quick browse through the returned search results from machine mart using "oil pump", it seems there a lack of oil pumps suitable for us DIYer's that dont have use for gallons of gear oil.

last time i changed the oil, one of the fill-ups was difficult; down to the thickness of the oil through one of those small 200ml oil dispenser tins. is there anything more suitable on the market, and where do you get it from?

i'm planning on gearbox oil change this week since i'm having some issues shifting.

You checked a chandlery? Getting oil into a yacht engine is notoriously difficult and there are often pumps used to change the oil on the engine and gearbox on yachts.

there is a better option its similar to a large syringe where you add just the correct amont then push the plunger

I used the Machine Mart one, worked a treat. Lots easier than setting up long hoses and squirting from the bottle etc.

thats gotta be one of THE most useful tools i currently own! well worth it for gearbox/diff oil changes.
£12 from fleabay.

also my gearbox oil was a touch low (100ml or so), so should improve my 3rd gear issue as of late!
