Apologies for not searching but I'm using my phone and data costs a bomb. I've just checked my oil 30 minutes after stopping the car and the level is one diamond below H, the engine is still warm so I'd imagine oil will be still dripping down off the pistons and crank case.

Should I a) put 100ml extra in or b) wait another 30 min to an hour and take another reading?

Too much oil can be just as bad as too little right?

Your oil level is fine. If it's below "L" you need to start worrying.
