Default Oil Change

Just a quickie, my car is due its between services oil change, and I was wondering whether it would be better to wait until after next week's track day at Hullavington to get it done, or to go ahead with it beforehand?

Your thoughts please...

The between services change is optional. I wouldn't stress about leaving it until after the trackday, or indeed dispensing with it at all.

Leave it until after will be fine, just make sure the oil is checked on the track day and that you have some spare just in case.

Put new oil in after you've boiled it, not before!

I think I'll take Nick's advice on that. Thanks all.

before will gain you a full 1 bhp, after will remove the knackered boiled oil youve just cooked
