Oil Bolts
I haven't seen this covered, but maybe I haven't looked properly.
According to Braylake Honda, St Albans, the new oil bolts are cross-drilled twice, so they have four holes instead of two. The effect is to squirt more oil onto the bores and the underside of the pistons, cooling them better for track use. Thus endeth no.four cylinder failures (in theory at least).
They have to lose the exhause downpipe, engine mount & sump, do two, turn the crank through 90 degrees, do the other two (from underneath with dripping oil).
Oh, and put it back together again.
This sounds like its not a job for the faint hearted!
And you think fitting airhorns is a pain in the arse....
