Oil..
I thought I should get a big tub of oil for my car to keep it topped up.
But... I don't know what's in there right now.
I'm going to contact the bloke I bought it off and/or the place that did the last full service and see if they know, but if that doesn't work out.
Do I need to make sure I match the same oil? I'm guesisng it does otherwise the different types would sepperate in some way.
Is there any easy way to check what oil is in there?
Should I just get a full oil change done with some new oil?

in honesty, its probably worth giving it a change if you can, worst case scenario you have oil that you know for a fact is brand new and fresh.
Oils of choice on here vary, but I'm very happy with Castrol Edge 5w30 (Says 'Designed for VW and Audi Engines' on the front)

No real issue with mixing oils.
All oils will should be misicible with other oils, its part of an API approval.
However i know some people like piece of mind.
