Pass yay!

No advisories which is strange as last year it got this..

Front Suspension arm pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement Both sides (5.3.4 (a) (i))
Only 500 miles, let's see if we can double that this year!

We always used to drive south-east from Mattishall to avoid that part of the A11. Think ten miles of those bumps they place to slow you down into roundabouts
Especially used to avoid the A47-A11 route and take the motorhome round impossibly narrow lanes rather than take that bump strip.

The dog came with me to the MOT place

Just gave me sad face the entire journey. It made me realise the e is only still here for err indoors, dog and missus

Borrowed time.. I could get a slaggy owd legend that needs welding instead

22 years old , the car that is , passed today . @85110miles

couple of advisories

1) near side front HEL flexible brake line has a crack in plastic outer covering.
2) 4 crappy poly bushes have a little fire and aft play , have to put a couple of my stainless bushes in them some time, some inspectors seem to note this others don’t ! , would never poly bush again personally
3) rust around the oblong inspection rubbers on the inner cill / floor may need attention repair ( I know it does , needs cutting out and a new plate welding in , next winter job.

happy days all around really

Another year, another pass

The standard car never ceases to impress me, was a great drive there too doing an Italian tune up to get the cat working.. everything about that car is just so right

Last "summer" shows on my mileage

Get out and start enjoying them

I couldnt put mine through the MOT. Engine management light was on. Either low quality fuel or the aftermarket cat that went on last year. (Hopefully not the latter). I did put some new super in and for now light has gone out.

Also when being serviced the health check flagged drop link dust covers all perished and in need of replacement. Plus some lugs missing. Honda have quoted £620 to do front and back. Seems to be 2hrs labor plus parts.

What are peoples thoughts on that price?
