I recently fitted OEM pads, I like them, they don't dust as much as others, they don't grab at all, work from fresh on, and are more than capable for spirited road driving ... from memory (it was a long time ago when i took my car on track with OEM pads, but I remember they did well but were quite well worn prior to the day so faded by the end) ... very good price too OEM ... I have no experience of NS400s however.

I'm about to order a set of the HC800's from Hendy performance together with some P'Mu discs. I've used the discs before on an Evo that went round track and they held up really well, Ive used godspeed and AP Racing two part discs before and these were as good. A mate has put the HC800's on his FD2 and rates them very highly also.
I would have just gone with Ds2500's but they don't half kick out some dust.

My current oem's are on the last 1/4 it was the other week when braking medium then hard from around 110mph that I felt the peddle go 'spongy' like the pads were protesting? I expect oem pads to manage several stoppages from high speed without trouble, the discs are fine.

OEM pads arent up to track use at all
I've used Red stuff on track and they are good but not as effective as oem when cold.
I have overheated oem on empty roads before too but it takes some heavy use
So depends on your use tbh
I dont know the NS pads

I fitted Yellow Stuff pads around two years ago and I like them.
I felt they were just a bit better than OEM for my non track driving.
Would be happy to hear other peoples opinion of them.

I have hc800's with OEM disc and Spoon monoblocks, not great from cold, but enough, once you've give the pedal a few dabs and got some heat in them, wow, just the lightest touch on the brake and the nose dives, I've caught a few people out that choose to drive to close.
The only downside is the dust, I've had to start using mould release on my wheels to try and combat it.

I fitted some NS400s on standard, used discs just before I took the car off the road for the Winter. Not got much driving time on them but to me they feel like good, low dust, road pads. I'd also echo the above that they do feel more progressive and as such offer more modulation which suits my driving.
Holding overall judgement until I've put a few hundred miles on them (as they were fitted to used discs) but overall happy with my purchase.
