Default OEM Paint Manufacturer Required

Getting my front bumper re-sprayed and the outer number plate plinth holes filled and the guy doing the work has asked me what manufacturer made the original paint. Anyone one on here know ? I've also looked for a paint code sticker on the body but can't find one, just on the off chance that it would display the manufacturer. Anyone know where this is ? Or if there is one.

Had a scroll through the FAQ's but couldn't find anything.

Thanks in advance.

All paint codes are in the FAQ, you shouldn't need the manufacturer of the paint, they are standard codes. A decent coachbuilder should know

Blimey Ian, I know you like to skim-read, but it's not usually this early in a thread.

Sorry, can't help. Don't see why it matters though.

Nothing wrong with Ian's reply
I've had 3 bumpers done and a few spoilers.
Never any mention of who makes Honda's paint!

Pretty sure he didn't mention anything about not needing to know the manufacturer last night. Almost certain it was just the code chart. Never mind. Either I was skim-reading, or there was some sneaky editing.

Hi Phil
Who is doing your bumper? Is it someone local? (and reasonably priced)I will need mine doing soon as it is suffering from gravel rash.

Hi John,
It's a lad down the road who paints trucks, so it's not what he normally does, I'll ask him if he's up for doing another if you want.

Cheers Phil

Honda paint is so crap, anything anybody else does is bound to be an improvement.
