Default Odd tyres

Ok I know its no excuse that I have only had my car for two months....but this morning I have noticed I have S02's on the front and S03's on the back. Is this ok?

The strange thing is that it came from a Honda dealer who replaced all 4 tyres before I bought it, and from what most of you guys have said they don't approve of using S03's.

Any opinions appreciated

Take it back and tell them to change them to S02's all round. Chances are that they fitted 225/50's at the back, whereas the S02 footprint is nearer that of 245. Most owners if replacing the rears and not fitting the oem S02 go for 245/45.

Honda do not recommend that you change to any other make of tyre. The oem S02 was designed for the S2000. The dealer has compromised the handling of your car against company advice and should be told in no uncertain terms that they are fools for doing so.

What he said. Regardless of the size they fitted on the rear, having different tyres front and rear on a car like this is an absolute The handling will be affected to differing degrees.

I put F1 Eagles on the rears, keeping 02s on the front and it handled like a supermarket trolley. Within 2 days I had F1s all round!

Take it back and get the tyres swapped!
