This takes me back to last year and makes me impatient to figure out if I'll make it back to the Ring this year! Nice thread, and I'm glad you had a good and safe trip, Ben.

The vid. clip of the Mercedes was sobering. Awful driving. The kid should never have been on the track in the first place (and an example of one of the few things about the Ring I don't like).

PotFish, you'd be a fool to NOT buy and wear a helmet, even if you had to tie it on the roof in order to fit it in your luggage! This is a RACETRACK, and while it's true that lots of peopel drive the Ring without helmets, that doesn't make them anything but plain stupid for doing so. My two cents, but "daft' certainly seems fitting (to me) to describe someone driving the Ring without a helmet!

It has been a few times that when I look at the pics of the S they look very small, as small as a Fiat Capucino. What gives apart from the camera being moved at speed to keep focus?

It might be because I'm a giant and make the car look small!

hehehe
