Whilst removing the bumper today I knocked these (see below) off. I know they are used to bolt the bumper up near the clips, but can't work out how they got on!?!

I know I've had a glass of wine or two but it's totally baffled me. Can someone post a quick pic if it's not too much trouble?

Would it be worth looking at lings parts web site?

Funnily enough had both bumpers off this week, unfortunately I wasn't present.

It would appear to be the stiffner, but I can't work out the orientation from the exploded diagram. Its actually okay without it, but I don't like doing maintenance and then having bits spare...

Stick at it.
It is positioned the correct way in the photo.
Mine fell off when I had bumper off.
Pretty easy when we've got your round which way they go..

Trouble is , with the bumper on the car its pretty much hidden so taking a photo is pretty difficult .

It is bolted to the bumper (one of these brackets each side ) and is used mainly to adjust the gap between the very front of the wing (narrow bit between headlight and bonnet) and bumper .

It goes on the bumper in such a way as the bit with a hole in it sticks out and locates into the car by the headlight and the little bent bit fits into a hole in the bumper and a bolt fixes the bracket to the bumper !!! If that makes sense

Without it I would imagine it would rub a bit .

Where are you ?? Maybe someone could help by taking a look ?

Cheers all. I'll have another attempt tomorrow. I was busy at the other end of the car today. Luckily I found the other stiffener in an oil drain tray..... don't ask.
