Mine will be up for sale soon.

2005 55reg, Moonrock, 35k miles.

Rotrex Supercharger kit along with a few other goodies.

Selling for around what you're looking to spend as well!

Nick.
Hi Nick, thanks for the offer.

However I have a p/ex and I'm not really looking for anything with mods.

cheers
Paul

Mine is an 09 and has had two owners as Mr CJ purchased it so we could get rid of his MR2 under the scrappage scheme and then as soon as the V5 landed he signed it over to me.

A vehicle can say one owner but that means bugger all unless you've seen this person drive!

Insist on being able to make a note of the previous owners and contact them yourself.

very true!

Contacting owners - yes, been there and done that ....helped me steer clear of a MK1 MR2 when a previous owner told me the mileage when he sold 3 yrs earlier ..... well and truly clocked.
Not to mention the first car I had went back to the seller after 4 days (luckily money had not exchanged hands) when my dad called the previous owner to be told by her dad that his daughter had been in that car in a bad smash and it was written off!

I won't tell you about the car I replaced it with as it's a very log story (it's funny looking back it wasn't at the time) ...... but I am now very cynical and cautious around second hand cars.

got to say i got a 2006 S2 for 10.500. with owners 2 owner before me one was the guy who got the car and the other was the dealer who restisted to the garage. but i got my car checked and hpi cleared but all come back good. i love the car but i think its allway safe to check it out. may cost to find out but couls save you lot and lots of £££££ if its a bad one but if its a gooden you not losted anything but grained in the facted you know alot more about the car before/ after you payed for it. thing i always done if it dont feel right at the garage your at just walk away and find another one. all those i think its the best time to be buying them. as i was told by 2 different honda dealers after i got the car. the price of them is going up because of them not bean maded any more.

I was looking for opinion and I think there are some very valid points that have given me the confidence to go for a car that may have had a few owners.

Ultimately only I can make the decision but the discussion has made me think about a purchase with an open mind and stop being too focused on the 1 owner thing.

Thanks to everyone who has given their view.
