This is done all the time with light aircraft. It is rare for one person to own a plane outright. It is not so much the cost of buying them, but more to do with the ridiculous maintenance costs and parking fees. It's not unusual to have between 5 and 15 people in a syndicate.

A friend of mine has a part share in a Robin (no not the Reliant variety ) If you guys are serious about this I could try and find out from him if there is some sort of standard contract that could be amended.

(I'm not interested in a share myself by the way)

Its a left hooker, but the mileage is low and it has FHSH so I would think 15K absolute tops, 12K would be a good deal. Any bid would have to be subject to a satisfactory inspection and HPI check, preferably AA or something along those lines.

Have you noticed that the car is actually an Acura (see the badge), hence its from the US rather than Europe. Does this add any complications?

I thought that the badge looked different!

I've also got some friends who have syndicate aircraft so could find out some more info.

I'm interested but really strapped for cash at the moment.
