I double de-clutch for the first 10 mins or so of each journey, while the gearbox warms up.

It's spot on after that.

Just be gentle while it's cold

I just searched for "greasing release forks" and im going thinking of giving it a go.

But just to check, if i grease the release forks the notchy feeling from 2nd to 3rd gear should hopefuly go? im only asking because the "greasing release forks" thread is mainly for a sticky clutch .
Fixed my issues in all areas, it takes 20 minutes and costs nothing so worth a try

Or if you can get it ultra high temperatue urea grease, Castrol do one it's green coloured. I did mine with standard high temp, drove from cornwall to north whales and back in the heat of summer, and had to do it again.

I have the same problem, crunchy when cold then its fine after 15mins...

Honda have recommended that they change the gear box oil so i'll probably get this done and see how it is after that... Going to cost £80 tho, but worth a try i spose...

I took the s for a drive today just to see if the notchy feeling goes after car is warmed up, after about an hour of driving it was still there (from 2nd to 3rd)

Im hopefully going to try and grease the release fork on the slave cylinder next weekend.

Also i had all my oils changed 3 weeks ago but im not sure what oil was used. But what oil did other people use to get rid of the notchy feeling?
