Non-matching hardtops
So, have been toying with the idea of getting a hard-top for the winter. Aside from advice from folk on a good place to actually get one (need the fitting kit too on a MY00), I thought I'd ask the general opinion of un-matched paintwork.
My S is a very dark Purple (import colour, midnight purple I think it's called?), almost black but polishes amazing and looks wicked in the sun.... anyway, was thinking about trying to get hold of a black top rather than having to go for the inevitable paint-match spray job.
Thoughts/opinions/advice/abuse welcome... ?

I would only go with a matching or black hard top anything else will not look right IMO.

eSeM - looks great
chrisr111 - that's the badger, knew it was midnight summat... never seen another one around, but I know they are out there
Think it would only be black if anything other than matching.
Interesting opinions so far, thanks guys.... keep em coming
