Non GT or GT

I don't understand why people complain about others with or without the ht. end of the day you still have a superb car and that's all that really matters.
Personally torn between the both. I like both. And it's nice to have both options.

My aim when I purchased my car was to definitely buy one with. I knew there would be a time when I wanted HT on and HT off and I love having the option of everything
Hard top
Hard top off, soft top down w/ tourneau on
Hard top off, soft top down w/ tourneau off
Soft top up
Got 4 different modes and I'm glad I didn't have to go hunting for a HT after I bought the car
Mine even came with the stand and Honda logo silver HT cover for when it's off. Can't ask for much more than that!

I bought a Dec 04 car in Jan 07 and it's sat outside since with no hard top. Until the last couple of years it was a daily drive too. I've just replaced the soft top, but it could have gone on a bit longer if I'd have put some time into tracing the leaks. It was still it good nick. I treated about every 3-6 months with vinyl protection.

And I was looking for a GT originally. I'd have been annoyed to issue roof down opportunities in the winter sun. Just keep a beanie in the glove box!

Go on general condition of the car and its engine.
If I was in the position to buy another, I'd be looking for a service record (NOT necessarily one from a dealer) and an appreciation / knowledge of the car from the owner, not whether it has an HT or not. I'd rather buy a non-GT with a good history than a GT without.
Mine's listed as a GT. It came with the HT and cover, but not the stand (I later purchased one from Bristol Honda Parts via eBay for £150). The car looks and feels great with it on. Yes, yes, yes, it's annoying when it's fitted and the sun pokes through the clouds, but how often is that in this fair land?!
Car condition first, GT model / HT is a bonus.
