Nokia Hands Free Kit
Does anyone know how to wire up the Nokia Hands free kit CARK-91 to the stereo speakers? Finding it impossible to hear the little speaker that they provide.

Can't answer your question specifically, but from personal experience, the only sort of handsfree that works to any usable degree with the roof down is a personal in-ear one.

Agreed. I've got the earpice but it kills my ear.
My Girlfriend has the same kit but connected to the stereo. She can turn the volume put loud with it. I think this functionality would go a long way to making the call a more pleasant experience.

.]Mobile Phone installation (Pic)
Have a look at this thread. It's the setup I and some others have.
I decided to get Carphone Warehouse to do it as they had just substantially reduced the price at that time and they could also supply the extra harness which mutes the radio and sends the sound through the car's speakers.
Up to about 30mph it's possible to carry on almost normal conversation without leaning forward to the mike or taking your hands of the wheel.
Over that speed, engine and wind noise becomes too much

I'd been contemplating this, and didnt know where to put the damn thing. Yours is neat, but i am not sure I would be keen on that location for it, I'll keep thinking, but thats given me some sparks of imagination

I think I may have said this before, but I had mine fitted by a Vodafone technician who came into the office one day to fit it. In the passenger footwell just below the passenger's knee there is a small replaceable panel which i fitted the kit to. This has worked a treat as the panel can just be replaced when taken out at little cost. He said he couldn't fit it into the speakers because it was the wrong type of stereo ?? I didn't contect the man, although it did take him 3 hours !! Luckily the co paid !
