Having the same problem at the moment. First visit to the dealer was 'It's the soft top in the back rattling'.

My answer was 'No it's a squeak. I'm coming in to kick butt'.

Went in today and took a very helpful mechanic out who agreed that it was the roof and the cure was new catches. So, they are on order and I'll let you know what happens when they're fixed.

Got the car back today after the striker plates were replaced under warranty.

Drove over some BIG potholes, drain covers etc etc.

... silence from the roof.

I had the same problem, new strikers under warranty and some lube around the bottom rubbers (sounds a little dodgy!). All sorted and quiet now....... Not that you'd hear much at 9000rpm!
