Sorry I can't run the link on my phone, but am I right in saying from your description that this only happens over 60mph, irrelevant of engine speed?
If you get to 60 and dip the clutch do you still get the noise?
If so, that would suggest drive train as all engine components are back to idle speed.

My prop shaft started making noise recently. Clicks, pops, metallic whirring and occasional grinding sounds. Noise is intermittent, varies with load. Add a passenger (service tech) and the noise ceases. Descending a steep drive to the curb often initiates the noise. Eliminated other possibilities before narrowing the culprit to the prop shaft. The sound is nothing like a wheel bearing, axle, differential or transmission noise. A bolt in the prop shaft assembly was discovered to have gone missing.
