Noise on firing
In the last few weeks, I've noticed a noise as the engine fires. All normal as its turning over, then a single "ooooo" as it fires, not dissimilar to that of a hooting owl.
Any thoughts?? Could it be related to colder temperatures and will go away when "summer" comes around again?

Sticky starter motor, most likely. It usually sorts itself out when it gets warmer, or you an carry out some maintenance. Nothing to worry about, though, it's pretty common.

my starter has been making a noise recently but i put it down to not letting go of start button quick enough... its more of a screeching noise than a owl hotting noise. My guess its the air pump coming on
