Thanks for the info guys and the offer of parts. I did a little damage to the other car so have had to set up a claim with Admiral.
Seeing as I am claiming, I may as well get new parts unless they take ages to arrive? Just a shame that I hit someone and not a fence, etc. I'd have sorted it myself with your help then!!

This is all good stuff. I'll keep things like this in mind in case the repair place say that it will take time to get X, Y or Z parts.

Don't want to be car-less for ages.
