Steven, I gave up on the remote adjusters - too much of a tortuous path for the clicks to be positive.

I can reach it with the left hand side of the boot lining "unpopped" at the centre and flexed slightly out (i.e. towards you).

Thinking about protecting the shock stem. The OEM shock has a sleeve over the stem.

Maybe I should try these;

Shock Dust Covers

Problem is how do I get them on, I don't have the tools to remove the spring

Can any one think of an alternative way of doing this?

I thought the best way you protected your mods was not getting around to fitting them, and then selling the car when you did?

No.

IIRC, spring compressors aren't expensive at your local factors.

You're more than welcome to mine, but logistically it's a bit of a PIA!

I keep one of the wheels, permanently on the passenger rear - you can just turn it.

the other side is very easy..

So I started the install today, having a nightmare with the wishbone bushes and adjusters, buts that for another thread

Nitron have dropped two clangers!

There is no bracket to bolt the front brake hose guide that has been unbolted from the OEM shock. These shocks are solid billets of Aluminium that are machined and then anodised. So I cannot attach anything that might rub through the anodising because salt literally dissolves aluminium. So I need to about that one!
Just seen this one, I could have warned you of that. I spoke to Nitron about this at the time of fabbing up - the Nitrons are monotubes and brazing brake cable anchor points on the single wall could cause problems. Mine sailed through the MOT without zip ties but I'll take Brian's advice and zip tie the cables away as a safety measure.

As to the brake hose bracket. I have some rubber hose I'm going to wrap round the thread, on top of that I have fabbed a bracket the existing guide will bolt to The bracket can be zip tied to the rubber cover.

Kobe - nice rear brace
