I have had more details from AST. Thanks Craig and Mike for the help too. They seem to do the same task as the Nitrons for half price. I got their details from EVO mag this month on their project M3.
I have been sent this additional info:
Springrates Front mainspring 140-60-90 Helper 80-60-20 ,Rear mainspring 140-60-80 Helper 80-60-20
I am still waiting to hear the reasons for the helper springs. They have also given me a guarantee that if I was unhappy with them they will refund the money.
The suspension is 12 way adjustable and the bump/compression is done in one move. They will fit whatever springs I want but will take advise already given on this thread and also the stagger.
Is there anything else I should know?

AST price seems good. Not sure why they have two springs. You may also need the upper "pillow" mounts from them. Couldn't see any data on what the spring ratings are though. Most coilovers for the S have very high spring rates, often too high for UK roads. One other thing to :confuse: is the 04's have very different spring rates to the early cars. The rears are actually lower than the fronts, both rates are a lot lower and rear suspension is also revised.
What length springs did you go for and what ratings for the 04 mate?
