Craig IIRC you had to change your front springs on the Nitrons, was this because they were too short to get the ride height right?

Yep, the front dampers are unusually long and so the springs neeedd to be longer than the springs Nitron had in stock when I first took the car in. My front end was VERY low, I've since raised the front ride height 10-15mm.

I have my ride heights at work Mikey - I'll dig them out when I'm in work tomorrow. FWIW I recall that they didn't match up with the OEM heights Biker1 told me.

Well, the Nitrons proved to be a great success on track yesterday (setting 12 from full soft of 18 clicks). Whilst I was mincing about a bit through the Craner Curves etc (combination of lack of raw red meat in my diet and a lack of track time caused by a breach of Donington's strict sound limit) my car was clearly handling really well, taking the chicane with great aplomb. I passengered in my mate's standard S2000 and was suprised how much bodyroll there was and how unsettled the car could be through a combination of turns.

I'm now of the opnion that fannying about with manifolds etc should come second to decent chassis/suspension set ups, oh, and a change in final drive if you intend to track the car rather than do loads of motorway miles.
