Nice Z4 Driver
On the Windsor bypass on Sunday, there's a 3.0 Z4
in front on me, he see's me and starts blowing all his six trumpets at me
In turn my car starts screaming VTEC back at him
Anyway he pulled over and let me past, and then in Windsor he pulled up alongside me and asked if I had a standard engine to which I replied Yes
(I thought about mentioning the Mugen Dustcaps but didn't want to confuse him)
He said he was very impressed he was having trouble keeping up
nice chap, he was a german too, it was a DE plated left hooker
I even saw him indicate round a roundabout now that's
attention to detail.

Ah, another prejudice confirmed!
I have nothing against German cars in their own country, where the owners tend to be polite. Also failing to observe traffic regulations is not tolerated.
It seems to be mostly the British that turn into despots as soon as they get a 316 or worse. Failing to observe traffic regulations is some sort of sign of "hardness" or something.

:flamesuiton: Nothing wrong with the indicators or pulling over abilities in my company 330D :flamesuitoff:
I guess I must carry the habits of driving the S over to the oil burner
This and the "Dear RX8 Owner" thread are linked!
It is not always the car, it is the ar$e behind the wheel. I do 35000 miles a year and yes BMW/Merc driver are probably the worst (van drivers are equal first!). But there are also some tw@ts driving sports cars like the RX8 guy
As Gad pointed out on the other thread if some one wants past that bad let them! They'll be first in to the speed camera or the dodgy bit of road if they don't kill themselves first .
My attitude is be patient and polite as much as possible - it usually paysback and you never know you might break a stereotype
