Default Newbie buying first s2000

Hi folks, I am hopefully going this weekend to buy an S2000 and already thinking of what i can do to it, i was just wondering if 18" wheels will fit on the S2000 or not as i have heard a few stories of rubbing etc, this will be one of the first things i will be wanting to do

Surely the first thing should be reading, reading, and more reading in the millions of threads on here, covering exactly the same as you're asking?

and welcome

The FAQ manual ( from the main UK page ) is what you need to read.

18 inch wheels are useless. ( general concensus ) Although a few do fit.
Saved you a bit of reading.

Why are 18" wheels seen as useless, it was really just the look i was after. Also can you only buy from certain manufacturers or can you buy from anywhere, soz if this has been asked or answered before but just finished a 12 hour shift and all the threads are merging into one big mess lol

Car looks like a tractor with 18" wheels.

It's not a big car.

Plus they aren't as good for handling.

@ dods

You need to read up.
Lots of questions like this occur weekly.

Have a looksee through the first 5 pages of posts to find out why.

You should really consider the effects on handling a bit more, rather than just the looks on these cars (which as has already been pointed out, 18's look too big for the car IMO).

Hi folks i have been looking at a few pics of the cars and the 17" wheels look pretty damn nice, so if all goes well and i get the S2000 i think it will be a set of rota force wheels
