Newbie - anyone recognise this car?

That does seem at the top end of the price scale.
It depends how much value you put on the Alloys and the new roof.
Of course, if an owner replaced the roof then perhaps it implies they looked after the car - and well looked after car is more valuable than a tatty one.
And it's a colour coded roof which is pretty unusual I think.

Alloys are Rota's so not expensive
Which reminds me check the tyres are all the same and a decent make
BTW as it is local let me know when you are going to look at it and I may pop down, it's only 12 miles from me.

I have never purchased a pre-owned car from a dealer without speaking to the previous owner, and if the dealer seems to object than walk.
BTW drilled discs implies the previous owner regarded the OE items as not powereful enough, so maybe he liked to drive the car very hard.
Well priced ( for the dealer ) as a good strong colour, a new hood and cool alloys give it instant unthinking showroom appeal for those not able to look beneath and beyond the superficial.
