Hi all

Went to look at a 53plate GT Nurburgring Blue, blue leather and blue roof, on sat..

Took my own cleaning gear with me to make no scratches or damage was hidden by dirt.

a few minor scratches and chips on the front bumper and a parking scratch on the near side rear. other wise the car is spotless.

Wheels have been replaced less than 1.5k miles ago due to corrosion, and the bonnet and boot stops have been sorted for the same reason.

Tyre wear is even, tracking seems to be fine when drving and under breaking.

i checked all the seals for both the soft and hard tops all seems to look good.

I also check the oil levels a number of times before and after i test drove the car, this is also ok.

Car has had its first service.

I have put a deposit on the car, while i do a few last checks, HPI etc. is there any thing i have missed.. I have used the FAQ, can in very handy.

I have sort of half done the deal, I`ve pushed for the front and rear bumpers to be resprayed, and knocked a little off the asking price.

I said that if the paint is to my satisfaction when i go up next time then i`ll have it.

But still trying to sell my Lude other wise it means a trade-in. So I`ll try at JAE

If you haven't already done so, have a look at the tyres and double-check (with the FAQ) that they are the correct S2000-specific S02s - you'd be amazed how many dealers sell them with any old rubber fitted.

Make sure you get all the bits that you should as its a GT, such as hardtop stand and cover.

If you're getting the front and rear bumpers resprayed - check and then double check for colour match - Nurb blue is a difficult one to get perfect.

You don't fancy a nice, fast red S do you? It handles like a dream and it now has a nice Nurburgring sticker on it too! I know the current owner has taken very good care of it.

Yeah i`m gunner be checking the paint from all angles, very very picky on the condition of my cars like everything to be spot on, I can spot miss matches in paint quite well, After valeting many cars.

Yes the car has both the covers, and the trolley which i havent seen as yet but, the previous owner is brining it in.

Does the trolley definitely fit in to the boot?? otherwise i`ll have to take another car with me to bring it home.
