new windscreen needed

Probably to ensure that the glue is set before you leave. Can take a bit less, but they're probably playing safe. 1hr to fit and 4 hrs to dry

I hope you are wrong! 5 hours just kicking my heels on an industrial estate outside Doncaster.

I could probably walk home and back again - if I was fit enough

Lee had ours replaced today. Phoned the insurance company on Wednesday and they got the new screen ready for today as promised. RAC Windscreens said they would come out to fit it, but as the weather was not great he decided to go to their depot and leave it with them.

It does only take them 30-45 minutes to fit it, but the car cannot be moved for around 3 hours for the glue to cure.
