Default New Windscreen Fitted

Just had a new screen fitted by Autoglass on my insurance because of the numerous, all be it tiny chips on the screen, . Autoglass were very good. It took 50 mins to replace the screen and another 1hr for the glue to cure. The screen seals are garenteed for life as long as I own the car. I couldn't believe the difference in the clarity of the screen. Really glad I had it done with the long wet wintery nights approaching.

Whenever my company supplied cars get to high mileages (100k+) and the screens become almost opaque with microscopic chips, somehow I get a really bad crack that leads to the screen being replaced under insurance.
Which remind me the speedo turned 100k today.............

Out of interest did you have one with 'Honda' etched on it? And if so, did you have to pay extra for that? I had a chip repaired recently and the 'Autoglas' chap said if I ever needed a full windscreen I would have to pay an extra
