Default New wheels/tyres

Hello campers. Just bought/fitted new wheels to my S2. Slight problem in that i have gone for 18" rims with 35 profile tyres. Rear wheels are 235 x 18 & they hit the wheel arch going over any serious bumps/troughs on the great uk roads. Does anyone know how to stop this happening ( please dont say put back old wheels you cheeky monkey's )

I've been there with a set of Volks CE28N.

As Marc & Steven have implied I'd guess the offsets are to low

Solutions

1) Reduce the width of the tyre (but you are already low at 235 on an 18")
2) Roll the wheel arches if they are just scrapping
3) Replace them with correct offset wheels (that's what I ended up doing with my

You should really be running 245s on the rear.
