Default New Wheels

Reading a few of the wheel threads recently has inspired me to consider changing from the OEM 17 wheels to something a little more eye catching.
I wanted something that was going to brighten the sober body colour and match in with the black/red interior.
I've posted a couple of pics below for comparison purposes.
I quite like the diamond cut finish and wondered what this would look like with red wheels? I've seen some by Fox but they only do 4 holes.
I was also thinking about getting the existing wheels powder coated maybe with a colour gradient from Anthracite at the back to Red at the front with or without diamond cut faces.

I want it to look interesting/different but not chav/boy racer.

[Edit] Recoloured the OEM wheels to see what they 'd look like too.

[edit] Took a bit longer but managed to get a powder coat + diamond cut effect.

The red looks shocking IMO.

Std looks classy, black fairly nice but any other colour can look a bit Elizabeth duke...

Kind of reminds me of the red piping found on 80's hot hatchbacks. So a  from me.
