Default New Tyres Time, Suggestion Please?

Hi,

Well I need 4 new tyres and fancy a change. I run Toyo T1R's on aftermaket 17" wheels and this is my 2nd set. Im really chuffed with the T1R's great grip in wet or dry. My only complaint is they dont last too long. Im wanting a change for around the £400, and would even consider semi slick road legal tyres.

Let me know your suggestions.

Jon

Would never change to anything other than Bridgestone after previous experience!

Cheers Ill have a look at these , its funny, I ran the old bridgstones when I 1st bought the car and they were terible in the wet, and a bit hard to read on the limit, but the newer ones may be better.

Sort of - on Bridgestones at least, the price for 4 brings it down from £50 a tyre over the going rate, to the same price per-tyre that everyone else charges for 1!

My local KF (only one I've ever used) does price-match though.

Anyone tried Falken 452?

Running them (second set now) on the bimmer and they are excellent value.
Good feedback and didnt get too hot on track either. Wear rate similar tto the flintstones they replaced

JD. As you know I am also running Toyo T1R. Next time I will be looking to try Yokohama Neova AD08- Advan S or Michelin Pilot Sport. I would not switch back to Bridgstones because I was unhappy with their performance and also the rubber had started to crack along the tread channels.

I hear on the grapevine that Toyo have discontinued the T1R and it has been replaced with the T1Sport which is an asymmetric design.
