Default New Tyre Time.

I checked my tyres today and it looks like the rears will need replaced *very* soon. The off-side rear is down to the tread wear markers but the near side looks like it still has a few mm left (not so easy to check this side cause the way the car is parked). The fronts still have lots of tread.

The sizes I require are: 225/45 ZR17 Front, 245/40 ZR17 rear. (17")

I currently have Dunlop SP Sport 9000 tyres (they came with the wheels) and although I like them the grip is not spectacular in dry and wet conditions. It also looks like these are expensive tyres I am looking for a tyre that gives good grip in both dry and wet conditions (Bridgestones therefore excluded) and hopefully a tyre that will last longer than 4000miles when driven hard.

I got some quotes from an online web site:

GSD3s were fantastic on my Scooby, they were better than the standard Bridgestones in every way

I believe that Bracknell is a Toyo dealer, and normally cheap to boot ( ). My Toyos have been very much like the F1 Eagles, and I'll probably be sticking with them.
