I don't think so, this one is made of plastic and won't go fast enough. Some of the nitro-powered cars can do 70mph+ though, they probably would! Only one way to find out

I saw a photo of a 1/10 scale nitro being tested setting a speed camera flash off in one of the model car mags a few years back with a strap line something like: "does over 50mph"! No number plates on it,obviously!
