Ohlins are on the car now. Took my all afternoon and evening yesterday to do it due to some rusted on bolts. Had to liberally spray angel piss everywhere to get them free.

Quite a difference I will say. The ride - while firm - is much more compliant over the bumps. A bumpy corner I drive every day that normally has the back end chattering out of line was now taken without any fuss at all. I deliberately drove over small pot holes and bumps and it's quite impressive the way it soaks them up without jarring my body. I mean, it's no BMW 7-series but with the stock suspension if you hit a pot hole - my god the car let you know about it; now it's much more controlled.
I'll need to bed them in and drive them hard to give my full opinion but first impressions are very good indeed.

I'm using the stock Ohlins springs but with 5mm more preload ont he rear than Ohlins recommended. That was a recommended change from folk on this forum.
I'm running 10 clicks from soft at the moment but will mess about with it once I get some time to thrash down some back roads.

Had the Ohlins on the car for 6 weeks now. They appear to bed in and become more compliant. I first noticed it after about 2 weeks. Things just started to feel, well, better.
After a while on the stock settings I raised the rear up by 3mm and dropped the front by 3mm to make it sit nice and level.

I think she sits on her wheels 'just so' now. I also added some 15mm spacers.

It's funny, perceptions.

I have one on stock suspension, one had BC (hard) then Nitrons more recently

The lowered car is easier to slide around, but I think has less grip on bumps and is way worse comfort wise on our battered roads

The OEM car is a joy by comparison. So probably better for road or certainly our shitty roads

It does sit well...which spacers did you go for?
