i had a look in screwfix for the flashing i managed to find some evo stick flashband but its 100mm wide and 10meter long i calculated how much Meters squared i need and it ended up costing £50 6Meters squared is what i need as doing everything so i went for some sound proofing from ebay looks good stuff,
Glad to hear you found another though, it's a nightmare world to find your way around

I went for the safe option pioneer deh-80 prs. It's a brilliant fit once you feed all the cables away from the back of the unit! The auto eq does a decent job of balancing the sound as well, my pods can still be heard!
Definitely going for the tray mod, don't think my body is up for another day of contortion though! Maybe next week!

I've just put the deh80prs in too, just about got it in with the wires behind it but the volume button is just touching the radio door Does yours do that?

If i can get an Alpine in there with its wires, adapter for the audio controls, 2 pairs of RCA, an iPod lead and an Alpine BT adapter plus its wiring - you can fit the Pioneer

Mine did, you have to get your hand around the back when pushing it in and feed all the cables to the left and right of the unit otherwise it will always touch! It's a little fiddly but easy once mastered!
It should sit back easily then with no pressure, the door will just barely miss it then!
