From what I have read on here, Bob Gerrard is very highly regarded!

If I was in the market for a new S2000 I would probably pay him a visit.

BobGerard is the one to go for.

Stookstar got hers from Motorpoint.
I got mine from an internet vendor.

Yes you are correct - EU import - UK spec, UK serial number range etc etc
2008 models have 5 spoke wheels, 2007 models have more ( CBA counting mine ).

If you get choice of VSA option, I would buy into that as a new owner Mike.

For 08 cars VSA is standard I believe
But it is a good point.

Just bear in mind re-sale values, Going to be much less than a UK spec car and much harder to sell in the future.

I was looking at Bob Gerrards also but in the end waited for a nearly new UK model with a few hundred miles, cost me a few k more but probably worth it in long run.

Bob G are very helpful. Offered me a hefty discount when I was in the market for one (I decided to go for a private example in the end).

Sorry mate - not my experience.

Was looking to trade mine in last year against an 08. Didn't make a blind bit of a difference, whether I said UK sourced or EU sourced. Same offer of 16K offered.
Not one dealer cared about it either way.

Some members recently posted that Honda dealers were selling new S2000's for around

From what i've seen from the Motor Depot (Hull) cars i'd stay well clear.

Not the condition u'd expect from a new car been sat outside for a long time too.

Also they dont have the best of reputations round these parts.

MD got a car from there and definitely wouldn't go back.
