A new S2000 owner
Well ive had it about a month now but with the wet weather we've been havin i havnt had chance to give it a decent clean and get some pictures, so here's some I took yesterday after a quick wash and wax while the weather was dry....
I wouldnt mind a set of the slightly later wheels in with the polished finish for it. I also need some new rear tyres, it came with 225 kuhmo's on the back which arnt very good. I was looking to get some toyo proxies to match the front as ive heard they are better in the wet, could anyone recomment a size to go for or do i just stick with the 225's?
Also got a hard top lined up for it and im looking to relpace the roof for one with a glass screen over the winter.

I personally would change the rear tyres ASAP. With the current weather, you really need to have all 4 tyres with the same tread pattern, not to mention the fact that the current rears are undersized and really crap.
Get some Toyo 245's without delay!
Great looking car though, I agree with the thought on the wheels. I previously had an 03 car and they looked gorgeous and very shiney when clean.
Maybe the better option would be to change to the 04 or 06 wheels which look a bit better as 16's look a bit small these days.

Black always looks really nice when clean and shiney
Shame you've not had much in the way of good weather to enjoy the car to it's fullest.
with Moff. Get some better rubber on the rear, or upgrade to the later wheels all round.

Yeh thanks mate, the tyres are my main priority at the moment especially like you say with the current weather. So its 245/45/16's i should be going for?

It's good to see another S owner from the north east.
Nice job done with the wash/wax too. I too am considering changing the wheels on mine due to the lack of high performance tyre options in OEM 16" fitments.
Enjoy, go easy in the wet, and I hope the weather improves for some
