just as the NSX dies out then....
does that mean I've brought a relic

I do think Honda do need to offer something new. I never thought I would drive anything else but an S, but after 4 years of ownership, I see the competition gaining momentum. Nothing else did it for me so, as I've always lusted after the NSX, took the plunge. Only owned for 4 days, but WOW, expectations exceeded

Honda really do need to inject some new life into the s as its such a great all round car, just needs some "cor" factor.

Pics of "relic" nsx below

Exactly what the mag. is inferring....

A very well driven Caterham or high power EVOBUSHI ( helmed by a suicidal nutter) could not gain on this VXR in their opinion...indeed it would struggle to keep up.......

And this was on the twisties.........

I was amazed....and at a stroke impressed with what LOTUS has done to the handling, while still maintaining ride comfort...

by the Golf forum has moved my mail on this as it upset too many owners

I think this version in the coolness stakes has moved it ahead of the Boxster FFS

Well I hope he does.

We tried to secure the first 5 HSC's into the country. We were advised by Honda UK that they were expecting them late 2006 so we offered deposits. The dealers as you know are in the main, rubbish so after several meetings with Honda UK - a visit to Geneva specifically to get access to the show car (Which we did, and it was fabulous)- all looked fine, and then, suddenly the momentum stopped.

We had a business venture which these cars would have promoted as they would have been so unique, and we were very keen. In an attempt to keep their interest, we went to Slough (Honda UK) with the full value of 5 cars (anticipated to be circa

Exactly.....

The S2000, ITR & CTR has meant that it now gets compared to Audi's, Porsche & BM's....

6 years ago...wasn't Honda the blue rinse joke...and Rover 100 competitor

Now CTR lifts the Civic range, accord gets itself mentioned alongside Audi & 3 series,

& Jazz has brought a whole load of image to the small class...
I still think Honda is a blue rinse joke. Walk into any Honda showroom in the UK and it will have silverheads in there. The CTR may lift the Civic range into chavdom, but it doesn't even come close to competing with Audi and BMW, maybe the Focus, Mazda 3, Astra brigade.

The Jazz is a good car, and I think its the class leader - but its still predominantly driven by silverheads.

Finally, WTF is the FRV all about???? I think this is a clear indication to where Honda are heading, and its not good. I think Honda are going to play to their largest market - the US.

I love the NSX and S2000, but it looks like Honda will drop both of them over the next 2 years, and will just be left with the CTR

I am sorry but I don't see what the problem is with it "being an Astra!!"

I would buy one as a second car. It is quick, will be practical and is pretty cheap really! Astra or not! My current second car is a Vectra..........yeah a vauxhall but it does its job...........which is exactly what the Astra will do! I quite like it and think vauxhall has come up with a car to wipe the floor with the Golf GTI, Leon Cupra, CTR etc etc and its cheaper than most of those (Bar the CTR which is a bit dated now!)
