Default New S2000, old NSX

First my thoughts.....

If the 2.2 is to be offered come December, just as the NSX dies out then....might it be a step up in performance....

It certainly needs to have something in the straight line factor if the new Astra VXR with 240 BHp from its 2 litre manages exactly the same 0-62mph figures as the S2000 (6.2) & 152 mph top-end...all for

That's probably what Boxster owners say about Hondas though

Vauxhall Astra my arse! Leave the S2K alone!

Save up for the V10-engined NSX replacement in 3-4 years, if Takeo Fukui has his way!

Electric power means batteries and electric motors which both mean more weight.

I'd prefer less weight same power to more weight more power.

Of course, less weight (same distribution) and more power would be ideal.....

Exactly.....

The S2000, ITR & CTR has meant that it now gets compared to Audi's, Porsche & BM's....

6 years ago...wasn't Honda the blue rinse joke...and Rover 100 competitor

Now CTR lifts the Civic range, accord gets itself mentioned alongside Audi & 3 series,

& Jazz has brought a whole load of image to the small class...

If they lose the S2000 soon as well as the NSX... it could be hard for them so sell this model again in such a overflowing market (compared to what was available 8 years ago)?

Like the Datsun 350Z is pulling their image up, Vauxhall are expecting further great image improvements...on top of the Monaro VXR, VX VXR etc...

No doubting the perfromance improvement due to be Forced rather than N/A induction....also means a trip to superchips etc & hey presto 280 Bhp for
