New Roof Coming - Any Tips or Advice Please?
Hi all,
I've finally got myself booked in for a new mohair black roof at Jack Smiths in Swansea.
Apart from cutting out my glass & sending it to him via courier (prefer to do my own as know heater wires work) - is there anything else I can do or buy to help get the best results from changing my roof?
At the moment I suffer with the usual wet shoulder after a downpour, but apart from that no other worries - car is an '02.
Do I need to replace seals, elastics, etc etc?
I've got some Shin-etsu that I'll be taking to coat the current seals, but any other advice is much appreciated.
Thanks for reading my post & I look forward to your comments,
Cheers

I think Trunkz means up not on! and if it's a while before its done give the rubbers a light shin-itsu once a week to make sure they are really supple and mold to the new roof. If the elastic between the hoops is slack it might be worth changing them first or do then whilst Jack has the old roof off.

I'm not selling these ATM but they are easy enough to knock up.
