New Roof
Mrs Chippo was sent to Carhood on tuesday to have a new roof fitted, and she enjoyed the experiance esp winding up a couple of young Boxter Drivers having new roofs.
She found the bus stop and went into Kingston shopping!!!
New roof is excellent absolutly smooth no wrinkles etc. She commented on the glass window being so much better to see out of on the way home.
The new roof is very tight and one cannot get the latches to clip on easily from inside the car yet, one needs to push down and engage the clips.
The only probelm has been getting the S2kuk member discount, but i am sure this can be sorted when my papar work arrives, the post business/strikes are causing problems for us , no birthday cards to day for instacne
But the roof looks a treat and i believe much better than the OEM ever was

No post on a Sunday !!!!!!!! oh no no one loves me no cards !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Drove car today with new roof and its much quieter than old to, maybe due to the old roof falling apart at the bottom both sides at the "B" pillar point.
I never had any wear problems as spoken about elsewhere, just wear and tear from lots of usage and one small tear form a person of doubtful parentage, so in general it lasted 8 years.
