Interesting look, not to my taste. But glad you got it sorted.

Nah, I appreciate it's won't be to everyone's taste. TBH, i did it cos it was there to do! Easy enough to take out

Illegal?

Hmm, not sure about that. My reverse lights are white as are my number plate lights. Must be some techinicality somewhere

ye but your reverse lights only illuminate when going backwards to highlight your vehicle is reversing and showing others.

The numberplate is also illuminated but does not distract other road users and lets the forces that be what your reg is. Them side lights could be seen as distracting road users and be against the law. If illuminated red like what my old BMW 330 had then you will be fine, as it stands im sure this is illegal mate.

you could get away with orange possibly? i've seen volvos with orange side lights not sure if they were on the front tho. Could of been on the front with LED red ones on the back, sure the V70 is like this.

Ron I wish you had let me know you needed a rear light, I have one in my shed doing nothing!

Regardless, great job as ever.

Right, i'll have to get out the red marker pen then!

Paul, I think yours have the Chrome surround. But thanks for the compliments

Rick - We are having a 'light off' on the 30th remember. That'll show those TVR drivers

Unless you make your front side markers work, it'll look odd. Not really, but it's a new challenge.

Plus, don't use those nasty insulated crimps from Halfords; they are notoriously unreliable. Get some grown-up ones from Maplin or somewhere.
