Default New Owner Questions

1) My Honda dealer has offered me a package called Superguard that is a bodywork treatment to seal the gloss paint against all things evil and maintain a showroom shine always. The interion is also included. Anyone any experience of this?

2) As tyre pressures are important on a performance car where do you get your tyres checked and inflated or do you have a home pump?

3) Are Muz mats, Rick's knobs and all the other bits and pieces really that important?

1. Can't comment.

2. Hellfords do a handheld pressure checker which (at least in my experience) is reasonably accurate.

3. Muz mats look much better than Honda mats, but aren't vital. I would really recommend a Rick's (or equally a Muz's) knob over the stock one - it shortens the throw even further and fits snugly in the palm of your hand.

1. No Idea
2. I use a old fashioned gauge with 2 moving parts (the seal and the measuring plunger thingy) and then check them at a garage with one of those new fangles digital pumps that does it all automatically for you - well most of it.
3. No, but they cost less than all that MUGEN stuff that is REALLY important.

defo get an all metal knob........Muz matts if you can justify the expense...

as has been said...getting bits is half the fun.....the other half is cleaning and driving so I'd not bother with the supagard personally

Sorry for probably asking a silly question but having just become a member yesterday and new to the history of this forum, can some one tell me all about Rick's knob please what it does, why it's good, where they are and how much it costs. To be objective you can also tell me why I don't need one on my 04'. Thanks chaps..........Phil.
