Right... first things first.

1/ Welcome and have fun!.

2/ As this is the UK/ Irish forum - maybe change your flag to something that identifies you as such... unless of course you are American

3/ As an owner .... change yourself from an enthusiast to "owner".

4/ You bought the second slowest colour combo.. Damn...never mind.
Next time - get yourself one of these moonrock babies. Fastest colour there is.

5/ Have you removed the airbox lid yet. Unclip the 6 clips, pop it off, give it some welly in VTEC and enjoy the orchestra.

Best
Gaspode.

ps. No idea about your alarm.

Can I change the alarm fob from a ''Two Button'' (one raised one sunken) to the ''Three Button'' (separate boot button) fob to get around the situation of ''yes I will open your boot for you but I might not do it next time...or maybe will I?''..... Or are we talking totally different systems here?
No!

Honda UK, in their wisdom, decided that the the OEM immobiliser was insufficient in the UK so installed a POS Alarm onto the cars before they were delivered to customers.

The 2 button fob is the one that comes with this alarm.

As well as the 'will it .... wont it' boot opening you can look forward to the alarm packing up completely, sometime in the near future, leaving you stranded in the middle of nowhere.

& welcome.

I didn't have an alarm on mine, so I had an aftermarket one fitted.

Enjoy &

Ok thanks for that....I'll stop watching that fob on eBay then.

Profile all up-to-date now I think.

Just thought of another question...

Does anyone know where to get hold of the red cam cover wrinkle finish paint from?

Nice choice of colour. Where are you based?

There's a guy on the Accord Type R forum that refinishes cam covers. I can find out his details for you if you like.

Mine needs doing but I've got better things to spend my cash on TBH
