FWIW
I have just been speaking to those who shd know (about something else) and mentioned the Costco offer.
The box is not the B2 lacks about 15 functions and the laser detector.
I think the actual Costco ad is talking about Blue i - apparently this is a re-packaged Blue i.
That said for fixed cameras of all sorts it is good, because it uses the same DB.
So - you pays your money and takes your choice as they say.
HTH
Apparently for the B2 demand is out-stripping supply. Don't think this is sales BS since I have a 2nd car kit on order and delivery is moving out drastically.

So if the offer is for a b2, does this have a speed sensitive alert function like the Geodessy?
This is useful when you are crawling through traffic and you dont want a constant drone of alerts coming from your GPS locater.

Again IIUC this does not apply to roads wirh variable speed limits - unit will only sound off if you are exceeding the 'normal' speed limit. There is a useful, time of day dependent feature which warns you if you are approaching a school - no alerts in August - but presumably at 1/2 terms etc.
I am assured the offer is not for the B2 - see post above.

Would that be a seller of radar detectors by any chance? If so, I need to see what it REALLY is. One of us needs to go to Costie-co and find out the `eyes on` thruth.
