White is the most sought after colour in Japan, its considered a prestige colour not quite sure why but all the Type R models are originally released in white and then other colours are added later. When I was over there about 5 years ago buying cars at auction I was told that white would cost extra, barmy!!!!

My last MX-5 was BRG. It's nearly as bad as black/white to keep clean.
It was also a bit beer bottle, rather than a true BRG.
IMO, the S2K would look good in a proper (ie nearly black) BRG, especially with that diamond pleated red leather!!

I know what you mean - my CRX was called "olive" green (very close indeed to BRG) and it wasn't easy to keep clean but looked fantastic when polished up.
I think there's a dark green option for the S2000 in Japan, along with orange ?
