JVC do a normal size dvd headunit with a small lcd screen for viewing dvds. The best thing about it is that it plays mp3 dvds which means a huge amount of songs on one disc.
Havng seen this in action in an S it does leave alittle to be desired ,screen size wise ,plus the wiring loom will need to be trimmed to get it to sit flush properly

Hi

I've got a Sony Mini Disc Player that I want to use instead of the OEM stereo. Will this interface work with the dash controls?

Clicky

If not - where can I get one?

MD model is Sony MDX - C6500R (I think - or very similar)

Thanks

If your head unit has the Audio jack input on the back then it should work, i used mine with a pre 04 head unit by removing 2 of the wires as instructed by the manufactures then refitted them for my new 04 MP3 one.

James the screen is small however you aren't that far away from it and the point being is that if it can show movies it can read dual layer DVDs, giving almost 9Gb of mp3 files (or whatever format you prefer). That is quite impressive and eliminates the need for iSpods etc.

Anyway here is a pic...

It is the JVC KD-AVX1
